Quilter's Notes:  This quilt was completed in May 2002 for our June 2002 fundraising event with Cocktail Charities.  We added the symptoms and longevity data to make it easier for the event's participants to 'get our messages' especially since it was unlikely that we could sit down and talk to everyone who might come to the event.  

Since this fundraiser, OGCC has used this quilt banner at hospital-based health fairs. 

It attracts participants and hospital employees who find this quilt easy to read. 

As exhibitors, we find it easy to use to reinforce our verbal messages with those on this quilt. It also helps to attract people. 

We have met and shared our messages with so many caring and concerned people.
